Prepaid cards

Our prepaid currency cards are a convenient and secure way for our customers to carry their travel money. 

Travelex prepaid currency cards offer the flexibility of debit cards with the security and budgeting benefits people used to rely on Travellers Cheques for. Our customers load their cash onto the cards, either in store or online, and then they’re ready to make transactions when they travel. 

Travelex prepaid currency cards are secure and have a PIN number, even though they are not linked to a bank account, so can be used to withdraw cash in ATMs or to pay for things at point-of-sale terminals. 

If a customer’s card is lost or stolen, we have a 24-hour customer service helpline, and will provide them with a free replacement card. 

The cards are currently available in a range of currencies, including GBP, EUR, USD, AUD, NZD, CAD and ZAR.
